Big P & Me
Isn't this adorable? I love my grandma so much! She is so pretty and so sweet to me. I miss you already, Big P! See you very very soon! Love, Ben
Dr. Sandy Harris
Tonight my parents took me to Castle Hills 1st Baptist Church School for a very special night. They were honoring one of my mom's most favorite teachers in the world, who is still one of her dearest friends to this day. Congratulations Dr. Sandy Harris....we loved seing you, we smiled while hearing your sweet voice speak & really enjoyed the dedication video, too. Your friends are funny...especially my grandma, Big P. She likes to make fun of your driving. Ha ha. Sounds like it's a popular subject with you, so I wish I could have seen that one! ;)
We love Stephanie Fraga!
These pictures are the "after" shots. By that, I mean AFTER I tossed my cookies on my sweet grandmother, my parents took me outside to clean me off and ended up making me laugh in these photos instead. They are so weird sometimes. Haha.

A long 2 days
Hey everybody!
How's it going? It SURE (pronounce it SHORE) is hot down here in balmy south Texas. Phew, I thought the fall was supposed to have a nice chill to it, but this is definitely not that. My mom is really having a rough time right now, seeing as fall is her favorite time of year and all....and there's virtually no fall here. Maybe next year, I think is her hope. Poor lady, she might be hanging 10 off Mount Delusion, if ya hear me? LOL.
Anyhow, yesterday & today were so much fun, but very loooooong days for me, also. My mom and dad started yesterday off by going to my PaPa's Dental Office to get their teeth cleaned. The ladies up there were so nice to me. I think they were trying to get me to smile a bunch too, since it's my new thing. Anyhow, it was so great to meet all of them and thank them for my spa, which I love. My PaPa is such a good dentist too. Turns out my parents have some great teeth, or so my PaPa said, so looks like I'm gonna get some good teeth too. Wahooo!!!! Then my dad and mom went to Luby's to chow down and mess up their clean teeth. LOL.
Last night my PaPa took all of us to Formosa Gardens. We sat in the back at Ben's hibachi table, no relation, and we laughed all night long. PaPa and MiMi love this place, and now so do my parents. Sheer entertainment & great food, or so I hear.
Today, we started over at Castle Hills 1st Baptist Church/School to see the Big P. She's such a funny little bird, my grandma. I just love her. She and my mom have this funny banter, so we always have fun when we're around her. I got to meet pretty much everyone up at the church/school, which was so nice. Everyone wanted to hold me, so I had a good time getting handed around, because all the ladies were so pretty too. ;)
After we left the school, my mom took my dad on a tour of San Antonio to show him all of her old stomping grounds and the couple of houses that she grew up in. Pretty cool. We meandered over to Alamo Cafe, for one more bite of delish queso. and then we headed over to Gran-Gran's house. She and my great-grandpa, Harry, made us this great dinner, and my MiMi brought over her famous lemon cake. Sure wish I could eat with everyone, but I have to wait.
Enjoy the pictures, cuz I'm headed straight to bed now. I'm bushed. Talk to you soon, Ben

Chillin' in the Texas Room at MiMi's and listening to Dave Matthews with my mom. |
My mom told me to put this picture on my blog to see if The Big P is really checking out my new posts each week. We'll see... |
Isn't she cute? |
My mom was cracking me up, while I was sitting in my great-grandfather's lap this evening. |
Gran-Gran, I swear the bug was THIS big! |
This is Barbara. I love Barbara, and so do my parents. She's one of the funniest ladies around, but you really have to pay attention when she talks, cuz she's sly like that. :)) |
