We got locked out of the house...

Well, here's the deal.  My cousin Shannon Bass came over for her Senior Prom photos to be taken by my mom.  We all went out back to take some pictures near the trees and the door went "click" behind us.  Gasp.  We didn't panic at first, and tried to just roll with it, but after 30 minutes of not being able to break in, we had to break down and call a locksmith.  $520 later...no lie, that freak Russian sounding accent guy took my parents for a ride.  The locks were upside down, therefore rendering the locks unable to pick and harder to  unlock...so drilling was required.  It was a whole ordeal...and we never got paid back the money because the landlord, Herlinda, sucks.  Sorry..it's the truth.  OK, so these are all the pics we got that night.  Not bad for an unlucky evening, right?

Love you guys!
B

I'm totally handy in the yardwork department

Hi everybody,

I'm a very hard worker, we all know that.  And now, I'm actually helping my parents in the yard.  Mom has planted a ton of flowers, and some bushes, after yanking the ugly rose bushes out of the front yard.  She hated those things, so she asked my dad to turn a blind eye while she dug them up by the roots. He thought we should call the owners, but she felt like it was increasing their property value and they would be grateful to have the improvements made without bothering them about it.  He said/she said...is that the right term here?  Or agree to disagree?  My dad just agreed to disagree and turned a blind eye.  Still doesn't mean he liked it, but he lets her get away w/ a lot of stuff.  You know...

Enjoy the pics. Shortly after these photos we realized that I can no longer wear black outside or anywhere in this hot steamy bowl of soup they call San Antonio.

I'm going comando!

Hahahaha...just kidding.  I'm just IN camo gear.  LOL.  I love my hat and my parents can put it on my head just about any old way and I'll still wear it.  Secretly you all realize my mother LOVES this, since she's bought me hat after hat after hat, claiming that it's all for her "photography" business.  Ha!  I am onto her.  And I really like the hats, mom!

This is just a random day in San Antonio when my parents and I were hanging out and working in the yard.  Can't you tell what a great helper I am?  Seriously....I should be paid for this kind of activity.

Love you,
Ben

This is how I would walk up to the front porch and then crawl up to go up the step.  My parents love this, because I honestly can't go over any kind of change in contour.  Meaning, if I'm walking from the sidewalk to the grass....a relatively simple task, right?  I would go right up to the grass, stop and crawl over to get on the grass.  Very strange.  Yes, I believe my mom says it's the freak gene that slipped from my Big P to me.  Just kidding.
 Like my TShirt?

I'm over it now. Can I please go inside and cool down?
