My 1st Haircut

Hi everybody!

Me again.  My mom took me to get my first haircut today.  My Big P came with us and we had a BLAST!  Well, for the most part.  I mean, I cannot tell a lie...I cried, but we'll leave that part until the end.

Once we got there, I was having so much fun playing around w/ the older guys.  I'm telling you, I'm not afraid of any kids...I just crawled (with my 1/2 crawl/walk maneuver) right up to the tallest kids in the place and started playing with them.  Made my mom proud!

There were so many toys and fun things to play with. I even pulled down an entire shelf of headbands, which bounced all over the place. My Big P giggles and then buries her head, and my mom lets out this huge bellow, and then comes over to help me pick everything up.  Why is everyting so funny to them?

OK, so here's the part where I cried.  They put me in this little airplane, which is meant to make me have more fun, right?  Well, I liked that part, and they even started a DVD for me to watch a fun movie, but once I saw Ninfa, my hairdresser, and once I saw those sharp things coming at my head, I cried.  I cried like a big ol' baby, but in my defense, it was all very new to me, and this very strange woman (pictures below) was coming at me w/ these sharp things..so, I lost it.  There it is.  I lost it.

Now, the funny thing is that my mom and grandmother think that the way I reacted was hilarious.  Those dumb blondes laughed and laughed.  I couldn't get them to stop, so I finally sat there, took my haircut, like a little man, and got 'r done. At the end of the day, it was a pretty fun experience.  They took my picture and did before and after shots, and they even made a poster and a little laminated page for my mom, so we could remember the day, and still keep a little piece of my hair, as well.

After lunch, Big P took us next door, to Mooyah Burger's, to get lunch for my dad and my Papa K (aka Special K)!  They have some really good burgers and fries, btw.  So, we picked up lunch, hauled everything back to my house and had lunch.  It was a great day!!!

OH yea, and in case no one told you, I despise the Hair Dryer!
I HATE THAT Noise!
It scares me, so that's why I'm dodging it.

All done!  Wahoooooo!!!

Walking!

Ok, everybody.....to quote Abraham Lincoln, "I'm a slow walker, but I never walk back."  ;)  I am officially walking.  I've been taking 2 steps here, 3, even 4 steps, for the last month or so, but just not a complete walk.  You know, my parents are hard to please, so they needed an 'official' walk, and man did we get it.  My parents were sitting on the couch, in our house in San Antonio, and bam.....out of nowhere, I just walked clear from the TV, to the coffee table, to the couch.  They can't look directly at me, otherwise I will sit down and crawl, so they just kept watching me out of the corner of their eyes, and I did it!  And I kept walking, and walking, and walking.

You know the walk....the weeble-wabble walk.  I kind of hold my arms out to the sides, and then I shuffle.  LOL.  But, I'm doing it, sold hold me back now!

Love you guys!
