4 steps in mommy's direction

Yes, again...I started to walk to my mom, stood there, for what seemed like an entire minute, bent down to pick up a few of my toys, stood back up, from a crunch position....took 3, 4 steps and then I flipped and sat down and crawled the rest of it.  I keep them guessing, that's for sure!  I'll be walking before you guys know it!

Paddy Cake!

Today I played paddy cake for the 1st time, and I laughed my little butt off!  It is so funny to see my parents singing that silly song and laughing.  :)

Self Feeder!

Wahoooooo!!!  I saw it with my own eyes, we gotta self feeder in the house!  I took that little crispy cake Toddlers Graduates thingy, tasting of ripe strawberries and luscious apples.  My parents have been waiting for this day for a loooohonnnng time, and when I finally did it, they were creepin' on me.  What that means is, they were both acting like they weren't looking, but they were both looking and didn't know the other one was doing the same thing.  They're kinda weird like that, I think that's called Simpatico, right?  Anyway, I did it, we're all happy....mostly me!

Mommy's photography gig is official

Well, my parents have done, an almost, complete 180.  My mom has decided to go full throttle w/ her photography business, Tracy Hall Photography, and my dad is, not only helping her with all of her digital logos and the creation/execution of her website, TBD, but he's also been freelancing a lot with some companies, in Dallas.  So, all that gobbledy-goop to say, they are sort of switching roles.  We'll see how it goes. Wish us luck!  We're all nervous, but there's no time like the present, right?

With that said, my mom asked if I would include some of her pictures, so here they are.  You may, or may not notice, that me, the subject, I....myself...I seem to get less smiley every time she takes me out.  I mean, I'm a kid, ok?  It gets old very fast.  ;)

The Clapper

This morning, my dad got up for the early feeding with me.  My mommy got to sleep in, right up until me and dad went in their room and crawled into bed w/ her.  It's so comfy and soft and cold in their room.  Perfect temp!  We started watching Kung Fu Panda, and then all of the sudden I began to clap.  I've done this before, but never 'on command.'  After I did the first few claps, my parents started saying, "Clap your hands.  Clap your hands."   and I DID!  I just clapped and clapped and clapped.  We were all clapping and giggling, until I felt like my parents were stealing my thunder, so I stopped, and they stopped, then I started back up again.  LOL.  This is so fun!
