Hey everybody!
I know it's been a few weeks. Seems like the more I grow, the tougher I am to keep up with. My parents are exhausted. I think it's really funny, but to be honest with you, I don't 'win' very often. I try my damndest, though. ;) We all know I have the independence of both my parents, combined. Tee hee,
I am on the move. And I mean I am QUICK. Lightning bolt quick. I'm crawling, sitting up all by myself, balancing myself on both hands and feet, and even pulling myself up onto ledges that I like to hold on to. I'm still a tad wobbly, but who's counting, right? 9 months, so not too bad. Today's Well-Baby visit showed I'm 18 lbs 11 oz and 30 inches. Almost a yard long. LOL.
Well, last week, me, mom and dad took a week to go down to San Antonio, to visit with my MiMi, Papa, Big P, Special K and my Great-grands. We always have so much fun when we go there, because my grandparents spoil the snot out of me. NO complaints here.
My parents got away for a few nights alone. Apparently they had a blast, because they kept giggling and laughing, to each other, about their night in Gruene & their evening on the River Walk. Whatever.....stupid adult stuff, I'm guessing. I'm just glad they had some time, together, even though I missed them both so much. They missed me too, so once I set my eyes on them Saturday morning, I didn't let them out of my grips. I had a ton of fun at MiMi's and Big P's....so much so, that I hated to leave and cried for a little while after we first left.
Well, here are some pictures. My mom took this photography class, so she was practicing a little bit, and using her editing software too, so they are starting to look a little better, right? She's enjoying herself, so that's all that matters.
Love you guys. See you soon.

This is my dad, acting all silly.
My mom said she knows the picture above and below aren't the best photos in the world, but it was their view from the patio of their room, and they hung out there, a lot, so she wanted to remember how it looked. She said it was something with the word romantic in there. I never know what she's talking about, but she gets these stupid goggle eyes when she looks at my dad. So gross. Anyhow, this is their view, and their patio.
This is my mom's cousin, Shannon. They call her little Tracy, because she has always looked just like my mommy. Mom loves her so much, she wishes she could be around her all the time, and so do I. She's so sweet and gentle. She's going to make such a great neo-natal nurse one day. Anyhow, this is me and Shannon. And the pictures below that are MiMi's mom, Granny. Since she is living with MiMi and PaPa now, we get to see her on every visit.
She's funny, too...always talking about how she can't find her teeth. It cracks my parents up. ;)~

This is me and mom w/ my first Easter Egg. I got to sniff out all the purple one's at MiMi's house, AND I even made some money outta the deal. Not bad for my first Easter.
Can you feel how electric the energy is, and how excited I am, by this photo? JUST kidding. I was sort of hot, and I can't walk yet, so I get frustrated.
Next year I will wax all my other cousin's in the hunt for sure. Watch me.
The last bit to add, would be my mom's hair. She calls it Chia Pet hair...I call it SOL. About 5 months after she had me, all of the hair around the crown of her head, fell out. So she makes fun of her hair, cuz she has side bangs. Anyhow, it's finally starting to grow out, so after that, maybe she'll want to be in more pictures and not cut off the top of her head, too. LOL. I told you she's crazy. ;)
