This is me, kicking it, in my change table. ;)
OK, so my mom is crazy. Did I tell you that, already? Haha. Well, of course, it is Valentine's Day, and not only did my mom get me this cute little shirt that says "My First Valentine's," but my MiMi got me this really cute onesie that says Mommy's Valentine. It's my mom's favorite, of course.
Anyhow, my mom dressed me up in my cool little camo/sporty garb on Saturday morning, and we went to our favorite little place, Coffee House Cafe on Frankford & Preston. My mom and dad loooove that place. They always order the ham & cheese omelet with a Lemon Ricotta Pancake kicker for breakfast. DELISH! They play really cool music there, and the waiter there has "Ronald McDonald" hair. Everytime my mom says it that way, my dad laughs so hard. I think she's playing around, because I'm starting to pick up her and dad's little cue's. They are so sarcastic. I learned that word from my Big P last time she was in Dallas. "Glllaaaaaaammmmouuuurrrr!" I'm rambling now, but all of that to say we have fun at the Coffee House every Saturday morning. Sometimes Sunday's too. ;)
Now, here's the rub - MiMi & PaPa started this whole thing when they got my mom a new lens for her Nikon camera. As if she didn't love that thing already, right? Now she can zoom in from all over the place, which will really be super cool once I start playing sports and running around all over the place. I bet she'll be nosey and zoom in just to see what I'm doing. She's kinda weird like that. LOL. ;)
So, get this...next thing I know, my dad let my mom buy props for her photography stuff, and she signed up for a class in a few weeks. All I'm saying, is I'm in for it once she's got a little edumication under her belt, and some props classes. I'm doomed. ;) At least she's trying to be more & more professional, so she's got that going for her, but everytime she does something w/ her photography, I can feel my eye's start to twitch. All kidding aside, I do love her photos, so I hope you enjoy them.
I also hope you all had a great Valentine's Day. My dad gave my mom flowers 2 days in a row. MAN, this guy lays it on THICK, and can I tell you, that stuff works. My mom falls for it hook, line and sinker, and my dad knows she loves it. First day, he started off w/ the lilac tulips, then he had to throw in a dozen red roses on Vday. Smoooth, dad. He's so slick. My mom gets all teary-eyed and starts kissing him all over his face. It's digusting, but hey...it's also pretty cool to see mommy and daddy so in love. They are pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I hope I find a lady, like my dad, one day. Someone that's funny and jokes around a lot like him and mom. They have a lot of fun together...that's why every Valentine's Day, they remember to be all schmoopy w/ each other, because that's what they both love. A Hall tradition, starting, and I will continue it on one day, hopefully. With the right girl, of course. And, if you want to add insult to injury, my mom says she has to approve too, which means I really have to be picky, cuz she probably won't like too many. Oh well, I know she's only got my back, ya know? So does my dad.
I Love you guys,
Ben
See ya soon! Enjoy the pictures!
